This is the first in a series of New Year's Earrings for 2011.
A simple hoop style design with a Japanese Influenced Lotus Petal soldered on to the hoop. A sterling silver butterfly (earring back) will keep it from falling off the earlobe.
The Petal has a sandblasted look. Delicate and light to wear it has been slightly oxidized to give an antiqued treasured look.
It has my hallmarks and has been stamped "925" for sterling silver.
